Well today, March 29 , you have two 1998 Nautic Blue S70s to choose from.
One is a aged NA stick shift
One is a low mile turbo auto S70
You could do a lot worse than taking stick out of the high mileage car and putting it into the turbo sedan
Both cars probably can be had for $3000 total under the pin oak and you can recover some of it parting out the old one

Responded to your PM, and sent my email.
Mine is a 58 code wagon, has never thrown a code, and is one of the fastest cars I've ever owned. Title in hand.

I have a general question if anyone is still paying attention:
How is the foot space in manual 850 / v70s? (p80). I have size 13 feet, and in my 2000 passat I had to wear narrow shoes because the pedals were kinda close together. Conversely, when I test drove a p1 V50 m66, I actually noticed the tips of my feet were hitting on the kick panel under the steering column. Neither situation was ideal!

Not far behind you on Big Foot Syndrome; none of the 850 manuals or the 70 series sticks have given me any trouble. The pedal box is identical on the P80s, but the clutch pedal for the 850 is a different part number. Robert may have addressed this in one of his videos.philbegas wrote: ↑01 Apr 2025, 07:21 I have a general question if anyone is still paying attention:

Well I test drove a n/a 1996 volvo 850 manual. I quite enjoyed it but definitely found it a bit slow for the purposes I want it for. i think I'm still on the hunt for an 850 turbo or v70 t5. Really hoping to avoid the tan/beige interior which is really limiting me haha.

Since nothing in my fleet was of interest, maybe this is what you're looking for.

I will be shocked if it goes for less than $12k.
