Coolant leak was just a loose clamp

Post by songzunhuang »

I was re-reading this thread and realized I never closed the loop on the coolant issue. I’m happy to report that my coolant leak was just a loose clamp. It’s been well over a year. I am back in Tahoe again with the family in the red brick. The car now has over 282,000 miles and running like a champ.

Now I am just chasing the P0455 code.

The Red Brick has 285,335 miles on it now. The P0455 was a bad purge valve. It was annoying that I took the car for diagnostics and they proclaimed my purge valve good. Sure it was “clicking” when energized, but it wasn’t sealing. I took it off to bench test and realized what was going on immediately .$30 bucks and it’s all good now!!
