RPM Gauge and Fuel Gauge not working, 1995 850

Hi,

i've been experiencing problems with my fuel gauge and rpm gauge. last weekend the connecting coolant line to the heat exchanger for the cabin came loose and put hot water vapor all over my cabin. since then the fuel gauge and rpm gauge don't work properly anymore. when i turn on the ignition the needle for the fuel gauge goes up a tiny bit but won't move up to where it belongs. the rpm gauge doesn't move at all. i've already used the blink box to test the whole unit. when i tested it, all the needles went to the place where they should be while tested. do you guys have any idea why my fuel gauge and rpm gauge aren't working? thanks in advance
