It says P0073 - Ambient air temp sensor circuit High Input.

Seems pretty random.

I think thats located in the passenger side mirror, if it glitches its part of the climate control and that might cause SRS fault.
Or it might just report directly to the ECM, don't know.
It might need a deep dive with vida to see what the sensor is reporting for ambiant temps.
If you experience strange A/C behavior that could be a symptom of that sensor gone bad.

I think you're mixing up the ambient air (pass. mirror) and the cabin ambient air (little grille beside the knobs on the CCM that everyone breaks when they try to clean)

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

I thought outside is ambient.
Inside is cabin temp.

They’re 25 bucks for a brand new Volvo one, about a half hour to change, you’ll have to take the mirror off the car.

My right side mirror rattles and clunks - I should fix that and put a new sensor in it.
