Destroyed front end, 97 850 glt turbo

So a couple months ago, I hit 2 deer in my poor 850 wagon. I can find the headlight, turn lamp, and molding, and hood latch for that side, but it shattered the plastic strut the middle safety latch hooks on to. What is that called? I can post a few pictures later. I've been doing all the repairs on this amazing car myself, and have browsed the forums from time to time to get solutions.

Edit: the car has been driven daily since the accident, bent hood and taped up headlight. Had a small leak in the transmisson cooler, which was sorted with some stop leak.

I'm sorry, I'm not clear what part you are looking for. I've added a link to a Volvo dealer parts page that shows the plastic slam panel as I call it and the latching mechanism. Is it anything on this?:

Yes! It says front end is what they call it. Item 1. Mine has a broken middle strut, and driver side headlight enclosure is shattered. Pieces held together with duct tape and sheer luck. Have not been able to find one so far.

The plastic/fiberglass piece that the lights sit into and hood latches to? That is known as the, "core support." I've taken out a deer or two myself as well

I've always found them at pull a parts the 3 separate, ufortunate times I've needed one. I've also seen them listed on eBay etc but the shipping is usually a kicker.

Might be worth buying a parts car for a job like this. I think you might need a lot of 1995-1997 850 parts , v70 parts might be different
