Little update guys i found the original factory Axles for my vehicle--1998 volvo v70xc i found them on Tascaparts they are not cheap either the correct one for the right side of my wagon is 500.00 / the left side i believe was like 435.00

I have ordered many many items from Tascaparts.com they seem to have alot of hard to find parts that everyone else no longer sells.2 years ago when my rear Nivomats blew out i found a brand new set on tascaprts and they happened to be on sale they were 250.00 each normal price of 350.00 my cars ride height is fixed and hauling stuff is not an issue anymore.

Not cheap, but not terrible either. They should last another 25+ years!

If you are having issues finding older parts, try gcp.se website. Volvo sold all their <2001 parts to them. This is often where they gat their 'classic' parts from. Shipping from Sweden can be reasonable.

I didn’t know that. I was about to pop in with the great service and quality axles I’ve gotten from him. There’s one in my 850, and one rear one on my son’s BMW E30.

On the phone he would joke about wanting to be a dental floss tycoon…..he would put a little box of dental floss in my axle box.

Ah retirement. Now he's probably a dansin' fool.
