I have spent close to $30k CDN on my 00 V70R! Much of the spend was when it was $1 CDN + $1 US. My wife won't let me sell it now as she has decided as I wanted to sell it, it is now 'her car'! Sorry, mine was only 1/40 in North America.

I am laughing at the seller of the 850R. $30k CDN?? ($21.5k US). I always love how someone asks for premium pricing on a car but then lists potentially expensive repairs like paint rectification, excludes the seats are not great and are too lazy to fix issues like fitting LED headlights but not fixing the resistance issue.

On the other end, the guy selling the safron R had been trying to shift the car for months. The price is low, but the risks of a P80 AWD and lack of parts availability for the AWD is risky on a 200k mile car.

I wish them both the best of luck in selling these cars.

There is also a C70 hard top 1998 coupe for sale here for $6500 CDN, about 125k miles and dealer history. Again been up for sale for a month or 2 and no takers. They have always been hard to shift up here for some reason. Faulty door window regulators when they happen are just a joy as the cassettes are NLA for the wire drive on these coupes and convertibles. I had considered going to take a look, but I only just clear the sunroof on out P80 R, the chances in a Volvo coupe are mostly none, other than a P1 C30 which was a surprise!

Oh, and to answer the question I missed a month or 2 back, why do I want to get rid of the R? A) I don't drive it anymore B) I'm tired of fixing it, partly my fault sue to lack of use C) I have owned it for 13 years and want a change. The car is not perfect and could do with some paint work on the bumpers and stone ships on the hood. Looks like the 'boss' wants to keep it for herself as a summer car, so likely will get the paint work sorted in the spring.

How can those seats be mint like that with 138k miles on the car? Car is in great looking condition and also a manual. But $39k?? Someone must have really wanted it, and great news for the seller!
