Hi all Volvo folks
i just started having this issue with my car , that actually runs fantastic, BUT when i use kick down ....floor the pedal it just spins without moving ! If i hit the pedal the hardest i can without triggering the kick down it moves great and pulls fast, but not when kick down comes in. I dont think at all that its the bands , because it pulls great even when its warm , and the oil is fresh light red and dosent smeels burnt or anything ....shift is great to. as mentioned ONLY when kick down comes in and it really has some power . My thoughts are that the torque converters lock up is failing ? But many people says they ussualy dont fail , but....what else could it be then ?
