Trans fluid flush...need instructions. Please

2013 S60. I want to do a drain/ fill or flush on the transmission. I have done P2's, but not P3's. The process seems to be quite different. Any suggested tutorials? Do I just use Volvo fluid, or is there a recommended upgrade/ less expensive option? In my P2, I used Toyota fluid and/ or Mobil as alternative.

I’m assuming your car is the same as our 2018 with the Aisin 8-speed trans which uses the “WS” (World Standard) Mobil 3324 (vs 3309 in the P2’s). There is also an Aisin-labeled fluid you can use but it’s probably a bit more expensive.

There is no external cooler in the radiator like the P2’s. Instead, there is a rinky-dink little cooler mounted directly to the front side of the trans, so no hoses that can be disconnected to do a flush - drain and fills are your only option.
