Ah ha, I found it in a description of another car -
“…a pre-war 1924 Bentley 3/8 Litre dubbed the “Hawkeye Special”, the “3/8” number configuration can be a little confusing, however all it means is that this is a 3 litre chassis fitted with an 8 litre engine. Because why not.”

So there ya go - the old big block in a sports car trick.

Italian I would say, but I really don't know. Do I see a Pininfarina logo on the fender, or Frua maybe?

I originally was going to say a Lancia Aurelia which has similar lines, but the grille was all wrong. That is a rare car!

Unidentified, but this is a Maserati (50’s I think) and it is spectacular. And it’s not red.

The 54 is slightly prettier as it has a one piece front windshield, not the split version of the 53.
