2005 XC90 V8 DEM comm issue

2005 XC90 V8 DEM comm issue

Have a 2005 XC90 V8 throwing a DEM no communication issue. Was working fine, then sat for 3 months, now throwing the traction system issue message and the DEM no comms code. Checked the fuses at the REM, 12V on all, no blown fuses. Have power and ground at the DEM. Putting 12V and ground on the AOC pump, it runs. Plug it all back in and I get comms to the DEM. A few minutes later, the traction message comes back and the DEM lost comms. While checking the fuses in the REM, I noticed some mouse turds back there. Pretty sure there has been a nibble on a harness. Put traps and bait in the car and nothing, so I'm sure the vermin is gone. Anybody know what route the harness from the DEM takes coming up into the rear cargo area to the REM? I need to figure out where the harness is to trace it out and find the chewed wiring for repair.
