Swapped passenger doors and only interior lights work

Hi all,
I swapped in a door from a 2001 V70, 2.4NA, automatic onto my 2004 V70, 2.4NA 5sp. Everything worked with the old door.
With the new door in place and wiring harness connected only the interior lights will work when the door is opened or closed. The mirror doesn't work, the outside temperature displays 2 dashes, the locking/unlocking doesn't work on the new door. Is there a simple fix or do I need to swap out wiring harnesses, components? The new door harness connector has a couple of extra pins but has pins in the same location as the old door.

Hi, The internet of things told me to look at the DDM. I swapped in my old DDM and like magic I have a fully functioning door that doesn't have a massive rust hole in it.

I may be wrong, but if I recall there was a change in the DDM in 04, which may explain the issue. There are those that say the parts are not interchangeable. They need to be programmed to the car. I have never done that so cannot confirm that either.

I put two 2004 XC70 right side doors onto a 2001 V70 and found that the wiring harnesses and switch modules has to stay with the 2001 V70.

I tried to replace the passenger side door switch of a 2001 V70 base on a 2001 V70 T5. It would not work.
