XC70 Hatchback problem
2016 XC70, push button on fob or button on hatch, the hatch opens fully and then lowers about 12 inches. Several heads have bumped into the hatch since we thought it was fully opened. If I manually push it fully open and hold it a few seconds, it will stay fully opened. Suggestions? Thanks! Dave

Welcome to MVS, Dave. I would bet several donuts that's in need of a recalibration, via VIDA. Search my site (home page search) for "what is VIDA" if you're not familiar with it.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Thanks for the note. I don’t own a VIDA device, do I need a VIDA to do this hatchback calibration? Dave

There would be no other way to do it without VIDA. You might want to contact Robert Spinner. He lives in Cincinnati and if he can't help, he'd know who could. Look for his YouTube page, you can contact him through that I believe.
