Need one for Karla, not holding air and has a bad dent on rim edge

Price point $120. There are options at $200 but that’s a bit rich for a Southern Scot. Will trade for used oil.

In good shape or even repainted/ powder-coated then that would not be a bad price for a rim. Last time I had a set refinished (maybe 7-8 years ago) it was getting up to $400 CDN to have a set done. Most used rims up here run for $200 for a well worn/beat set on top of that. That would mean about $150 CDN total/rim as of 7-8 years ago ($120 US). In this case, this Northern Scot would likely pay the $200 for a rim to save a lot of hassle finding another and just move on.

I just bought a set of 17" P2 rims that the previous owner used to check for sidewalk curbs when parking. They were $250 with a set of 7 year old remold tires, one of which would not hold air. I only need them for junk tire for the R to use over the winter in the garage so the summer tires don't get flat spotted.

I’m pretty lax when it comes to cosmetics on wheels, do I don’t really want to pay for pristine or refurbishment.

If I can find one of the close cousins to an Ariane like a Naiad, Antlia, or like….I’ll get one one of those.

How strange! I have a full set of 4 Arianes, half of which is on that trailer I'm making. However, I am removing those two and taking the whole set on a 1.5hr trip to (hopefully) pick up a well used Volvo 'napkin'. Lol but if I can put that set of tires on the original wheels, I can (possibly) sell you a wheel. I'll keep you updated.

On another note, a mechanic around the corner from you has an oil disposal drum that's calling your name. Or maybe you can put it in a 1 gallon jug, wrap in bubble wrap and sell 'in' eBay. Strangest shipping port I've heard of. Weird Al Yankovic told me all about it.

Just need 1 correct? I can spare you up to 2 of the 4. I was planning to keep 2 on the trailer until I could get a set of later Regulus, Miram, or 70171

You want to keep a spare for that trailer too. Hard part will be getting them to Antlers to Deer Park NY

You said something about Dirk. Is he gonna be able to get them? When will that be? My plan is to just keep two, one as a spare for the trailer and then one as a spare for my next Volvo. I plan to get one of those three options I mentioned previously.

Dirk just made a trip to Omaha so I don’t think he’ll be back soon. We will have to figure it out. No big rush, I’ve got my rim sealed for now and it’s a town car
