Neither! That’s Brooklyn! Lafayette street near the Brooklyn Academy of Music I think. You get good at parking , quickly

Nothing to report with Kära, she just does what she's supposed to do and without fuss.

Today I changed over from my 17" summer tyres onto the 16" winter tyres with a little assistance from Brodie

Those rear struts on the AWD cars are a devil for sure. My long Harbor Freight (Princess Auto) equivalent prybar will never be the same. Now has an added 'S' shape in the shaft!

Took the new to me V70 2.5T AWD (Polestar) for a run yesterday to collect a part from a friend. That Polestar tune certainly adds a good bit of pep to the LPT motor. Those 'sports' seats are also so much better than the P2 XC70 seats which feel worse than flat planks of wood to my tailbone injury. Hopefully this car will turn out to be a good buy. Even got the seal of approval from the 'boss' after she ran our daughter to the airport and drove the car for the first time.

Yesterday, the boss took the new to us V70 AWD for a run for the first time taking our daughter to the airport. Unfortunately she really likes it, especially the extra pep of the Polestar tune. Maybe this will become her winter car and the 00R the summer one?

S60 had a rough idle and a vac leak code for a while. This week threw the “engine system service required” message and did a weird bucking the other day almost like a misfire and had no cruise control. Got a bunch of codes 2227 and 0455 I believe.

I narrowed it down to the rotted out 1/8” vacuum hose from the MAP sensor to the manifold. Replaced that hose, cleaned MAF, cleaned throttle body, seems to have chilled things out. Still randomly have no cruise control.

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.
