Thanks for the reply.....I am just OCD enough I may not be able to let the RMS leak go indefinately, but it's too expensive to pay someone else to do it especially on a 10 year old car with 174K on it.
Adding oil is a lot cheaper and esaier than the repair, but has anyone out there ever replaced the RMS DIY????

Now is a good time to replace the PCV system and do a Seafoam treatment to your engine...maybe even an AutoRx treatment. You might find that with these services and treatments coupled with a slightly higher viscosity of oil, your RMS will clear itself up (been known to do this for some of our members). Not a guarantee, but I know I would try these first. Oh, and yes, the RMS can be done as a DIY but you'll need an engine hoist and some willingness to spend approximately a whole weekend working under your car. An extra set of hands would certainly help! The parts are cheap, the labor is intensive.
