bulkhead firewall isolation mat

is anyone aware of any good aftermarket solutions, even if i have to cut and form it myself?

self stick furnace insulation mat, might need to steam clean before application, home depot and lowes or plumbing supplier.

I bought one from an online junkyard, i said its okay to cut it where the A/C pipes are but he sent it uncut. I put some extra aluminum sheeting (similar to that in your picture) on flat areas and where i cut it for the A/C pipes and around the mounting locations, its more difficult to shape than it looks. Real pain to install and get it neat (factory) looking. You can also apply a rubber sound deadening paint still messy and alot of work.

Note: I did try driving without matt installed and there is definantly a noise increase.
