There are a couple of threads on this but I didn't find one with clear resolution.
If you fixed (replaced) TPMS on your P2, what was the process?
How long ago and is it still working?
Is there reprogramming or the like required, or can I get it done anywhere?
What did it cost?
Batteries have died on the sensors in our 07 XC70 and I'd replace the sensors if it was not overly costly.
Have you replaced TPMS sensors on their P2 Volvo?

I didn't bother. They were too expensive in relation to the total value of the car. I just live with the dash warning. I think they are$90 each but you would need to confirm it.

Are you planning to change the batt on the old ones or just swap in new ones or aftermarket ? i hear the latter is easier but more expensive as i hear you need to have them programmed but ask tyre shop first.
These are for the P3 but refurb battery changed seller note:Sensors are not blank or programmable. They are programmed from the manufacturer to work with certain vehicles

Apparently P3 cars just learns the new sensors and referb does NOT mean battery is changed

I'm not the primary driver is whether or not I care about the dash light doesn't really come into play here. Working TPMS sensors would be a benefit for this car.
I will do whatever fits the best combo of feasibility and budget, but I am assuming that means replace with aftermarket. I don't have tire shop type skills out equipment.
FCPEuro lists a bunch of sensors for this car, ranging from
$21 Bosch QF0470 (Programming is required with a compatible TPMS tool)
to
$128 Volvo 31200923
with many price points in between .

I have purchased 4 sets of 4 TPMS sensors on EBay for about $25 each and they work great without any programming: https://www.ebay.com/itm/363365292770
These sensors are on the snow tires and the summer tires for all the 2007 Volvos in my collection. I take the sensors to the tire shop when buying new tires or when getting old Volvo sensors replaced. The tire shop can scan each of the sensors and determine which ones have a low or dead battery.

My monthly ritual is to hit my driveway with the compressor going in the garage and pressure gauge in hand. I can reach six cars with one hose! Most Lowe’s stores have free air in the contractor pickup area I’ve noticed.
