Good on you for teaching kids. My son is a fly fishing fanatic. Didn't get it from me.

#2 - Do the V70 front seats fold all the way flat like that? Or did you remove the back entirely? Useful for lumber!

Not "IN" so much as "on" or "attached to" here.

This day was a mistake - A National Park, 40 degree water, major storm blew in unannounced, giant cold green waves. We had to send Park rangers in a power boat out to rescue one of our guys whose boat broke.

NOT mine, but look at how much boat this guy hauls! Sheesh. Boston I think.

Iowa has some trout streams in the northeast of the state. It’s beautiful country! I don’t live anywhere near that part, and only get to go a few times a year. But, you can catch any fish on a flyrod!

If you can fix a Volvo, you can fool a fish. :D

There are tabs on the backrest of the front passenger seat that allow it to fold completely forward. The headrest then slides flat under the glove box. It’s fantastic. I then remove the rear bottom cushion on the passenger side (it is designed to pop out) before flipping the rear backrest down. My fishing buddy still needs a booster seat, and there is room for her behind the driver seat when she joins me since the seats flip down independently of one another. It is great for lumber!

No pictures, but I cant count the number of 8, 10 and 12 ft lumber boards going through the back seat access hole and sticking out of the trunk a fair distance......

My recent achievement during our still ongoing move:
a 2.4 meter long IKEA shelf (with the front passenger seat folded).
To my surprise, there were still about 30 cm space left! Amazing vehicle.

It was a tight fit, but I managed to squeeze a whole other wagon in the back of mine.

Thank the Creator you had a wagon. Try that in a sedan!

I have this bad habit of swinging to Lowe’s for a few things , grabbing Lumber, and forgetting I don’t have the wagon.

We hauled dog. We needed the xc90 as she has some Great Dane in her. Meet Juno

A 3 seater couch. Granted the back cushions were removed and placed on top or the side, but fit nonetheless.
