Do you plan on applying the Cerakote yourself ? If so let us know how that goes.

I applied the Cerakote a day or two after I redyed them. Came out great. You have to be careful with that stuff. Don't keep going back over it; that will cause streaks. Just a smooth even coat and go over it as little as possible.

Two different colors from a different manufactures that are connected in a round about way, from what I can tell. The gray has a note on the bottle - " From the founder of Solution Finnish ". Same bottle and directions. So maybe a split-up of some sort between founders, and one got to keep the name Solution Finnish ?

Re: the Cerakote; I think Solution Finnish also makes a sealer. I used the Cerakote because I had already bought it, figuring on just using that. I'm sure it would have been great, but I was worried that if I didn't do something about the stains first, that they would become permanent after sealing.
