Sorry, too late to the party! Most never got even ABS for braking. They thought it ruined the driving aesthetic................ :o

The picture you originally posted has me stumped as I don't recognize the car. The majority of the car looks like a TVR Chimaera but the front lights are all wrong. It looks like it may have been a custom version with the later lights as an inspiration. What is particularly strange is only the Typhon has the small turn signal on the outside set between the top and lower headlights like that. All the other more recent models have then on the inside of the headlights:

I have to say, whatever version it is it is one of the best looking to my eyes. 573 bhp? Wow. Definitely a 'plastic pig' for sure!

My (much) older brother had at one time four TR2/3’s in various states of rotting into the ground, and an early TVR, which someone had fitted an MGB “race” motor into.
None of them ever became anything, and I don’t remember how he managed to give them all away. He lived at 7500’ in Colorado and they were usually under 8’ of snow.
