Thanks abscate. I also noticed with the oil gauge installed, when the engine is cold, oil pressure goes up to about 75ish... almost near the end of the gauge (80 is the max in the display)... but when the engine has reached normal operating temp it settles at 25-35 when idling... increases when rev'd...
Could that high oil pressure when cold a sign of something going bad?

Cold oil is thick and that pressure doesn’t seem out of line. An air cooled VW with a puny oil pump will run 50-60 psi at cold start.

They look to me nominal 25mm and 38mm x2mm normal orings
