All of the connectors for my coil packs the wire has become brittle and is exposed at the connector. See picture.
Can I use something like plastic dip and some electrical tape to seal it up?
If not suggestions? Thanks!

It is certainly worth a try. I would try cleaning with electrical cleaner and gently cleaning with a toothbrush or similar, then try the liquid plastic electrical repair.
You can then re-wrap the ends of the connectors.
I believe you can buy replacements that come with flying leads to replace the tired connectors. That may be worth a try. I suggest cutting the wires at different lengths so connections are staggered. That way you can use similar sized wiring covering as currently used.
Good Luck!
Neil.

Go to junk yard. Soldering these wires can be tricky due to copper corrosion (copper needs to be shiny), might need to cut further away from ends than expected. Clean wires with razor blade before soldering use flux and heat shrink. Recommend NOT using Volvo covering. let coils breath.

I got a used harness from Eries Volvo several years ago. It was in great shape compared to the one on my P2. www.erievovo.com
After cleaning up the bare wires I used flux, solder and heat shrink crimps on the harness. I purchase 5 new Volvo IGN coils ands warrantied Volvo spark plugs from FCPEURO. My P2 has 197k miles but she idles and drives as if brand new.
