Hello Jonesg,

Intermittant in the sense of once a month. Sometimes it's sufficient to turn off the car and turn on again. Contact is solid from what I can see, but I will try your suggestion ref the electrical cleaner.
Yesterday went on a motorway trip and notices a quite pronounced vibration from the engine when under load at 60 - 70 mph. Not sure if this might also be related.
I will search for Harness cover (local Spanish parts stores don't have it strangely).
Thanks again.

That’s a really oily PRC orfice. It carries oil vapour back to the turbo to be burned inside the engine. A vacuum leak can give you a cold misfire that goes away in warmup. Take a look at all the vacuum hoses one by one by removing and inspecting. There is a diagram under hood , and we can help here if stuck

Thank you Abscate! No diagram under the hood on mine, so would appreciate if you can share. Otherwise, I'll work around the vacuum hoses one by one. The misfire doesn't always start on cold - just for clarification. I'll still check all the hoses.
