Compared to me at his age, he's... uninspired.

As I understand, today's young typically do not see a vehicle as escape from parental control, etc. It seems the phone has replaced the car as escape method.
Situations change and people change.
He seems to be a good kid with friends.

After church I filled up with gas and topped off the wiper fluid. The light has been flashing every time I take off for a few days now. I just haven't done anything about it until now because of the cold.

Also, I'm tired of seeing this bolt missing. Anybody know the size or part number?

Try swiping one of the 10mm head bolts from the top of the fender, hood up, and see if it fits. I can send you a spare in Nautic blue. Those bolts also fit the air guide hold tabs down under the engine

I pop the hood quickly when I went out earlier.... the heads or washers are much larger than what I see at the hardware store. The holes in the fender are very large. Maybe to allow for adjustment?

Without further ado,

I’m Juan and I’m going to show you how to replace the left tailgate lift strut of a 1998 Volvo v70.

And I’m Norberto and I’ll show you how to replace the right side.

Just kidding. Just wanted to show off my Volvo tech shirts.
Shipppong and import duties was a nice steak dinner, but you gotta look the part when working on your car, right?

1987 Volvo 244 started stumbling when almost home last week. I got home and parked. Next day restarted and still bad idle. I revved it up a bit and more stumble and then dying. Humm.
This week I poked a long, small tube in the gas fill tube. Nothing wet on the end. Tank must be empty. No wonder it will not run. Humm. Must be why the gauge reads empty. I added a few gallons from a can at home. Gauge now shows a bit above empty. Later drove to gas mart and added about 8 gallons. Had to run the pump very slow. Gauge now shows half full.
Humm. Tank vent tube must have a plug! This explains way the gauge keeps reading low - not much gas in tank!

Didn’t do anything except wash my car. When I look back at it, I’m grateful that my factory nivomats are still strong. Going to be sad when they go. Enjoy your factory nivomats while they last!!
