it is a contortionist position you assume to get it out of the car: it is not a pleasant job as you get older.
Try to do it on Ford ("Volvo" ~2008 to ~2015)... The whole car is built around that damn blower.

Do you have a photo to show how to spray in situ?
.
I have two that I need to work on sooner or later so I just did some research. The video doesn't show the bushing till the blower is removed. Someone who has done the work please confirm the location to spray the silicone.

I searched and couldn’t find this job. Did I make this up in my head? My blower definitely was noisy and now it isn’t. Maybe I replaced it?

Was yours chirping more when the weather got cooler? Our 07 S60 2.5T with 158K has been on the road for a year. Not sure if it chirped in Feb of last year but it's still noisy with acceleration and deceleration. The gap in the bushing is probably larger in the winter. Perhaps yours have been grooved somehow and is staying in the lane?
.

Always more chirps in the winter. That's the main reason I never changed the motor: the very first season after it got noisy (winter 2018), the problem went away completely when the weather warmed up. It didn't return until cold weather did too, in late fall. Haven't noticed any relationship to acceleration and deceleration over the years.

Re wear it seems hard to say much of anything without inspection.

Once I get the tensioner and serpentine in I'll see if the chirping is gone as we are having warmer weather already.
