I have found messing with household products off the approved list is often rejected by the upper management. I try to buy most consumables off subscribe and save and always get the extra 15% off. Once a month I go in and skip stuff that I am overloaded and/or adjust frequency.

I was saddened to learn of Dan Simmons' recent passing. He wrote Hyperion and its sequels, and many others. I read the Hyperion series and also The Terror. All were very good and I'd read them again without hesitation. Probably will.

I've had one of these Kill-A-Watt electricity monitors since 2012. It's a great way to find out what balloons my electricity bill! Especially now that rates have gone up around 45% since then.

I have a Kill a Watt. Handy little device to examine actual power use for devices that vary in power use - like most things other than heaters and lights. It was interesting to use with PC and then watch power change when I used hard drive or gave it harder tasks.

I have picked today, April 1, as the day to critique your list of purchases to improve your household budget.
If you eliminate the WIndex, cat food, fog food, and bird food, the need for cat litter and trash bags should be greatly reduced. This should reduce your household budget for expendables and allow purchase of more important things like fine foods, wine and books.
Just my contribution to your household efficiency.

This may be the best product I've ever bought. Sounds like hyperbole... but also, it actually might be true.

I've had it for a year.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, does it very well, and doesn’t do a thing besides. The perfect product. It's a single-purpose, dedicated device. Low complexity. High uptime, high dependability.

I use it all the time (3 housecats), and last night my son got sick at 1am and threw up all the way down the carpeted hallway to the bathroom. We cleaned it up today. He drove the Shark.

There’s a battery operated one but when it runs out you have to jump the Shark ….
