Currently, I own a 2016 Volvo S60 T5 AWD, and it's been a wonderful car for me thus far. Unfortunately, last weekend, the serpentine belt shredded and some of it got up into the timing belt, causing timing to jump. The car cranks but will not start. A compression test seems to verify my worst fears, that the valves have been bent.
I have a B5254T14 engine and have unfortunately not had much luck finding a refurbished or used cylinder head for that engine. However, I have come across many of the same from the B5254T12 engine (2013-2015 version) and am wondering if I can put one of those in my car. Does anyone know if that is a viable solution? Are the cylinder heads the same, or at least compatible? Any help you can give would be appreciated.
Are the cylinder head assemblies for the B5254T12 and B5254T14 engines cross-compatible?
