Car stuck in panic mode/wont start

Hello so my car is a 1998 S70 T5. The other morning my doors randomly were all locked I usually never lock it and when I unlocked it, opened the door my panic alarm started going off. And won’t shut off. It doesn’t crank doesn’t start. Has anyone had this issue at all? What’s was your fix?

Try manually locking and locking the driver's door lock with the key (don't use the fob). Then try and start it. Something has tripped your car's security system and it has immobilized the car. Locking and locking the car a few times resets it.

Give it a try.

Immo no if America.. VGLA lock and Alarm mostly this year. VGLA has programmed or not to reset by door lock so by up to what programming it has that works or has no effect.
You can read last alarm cause, program it fully by yourself, or read live data from VGLA with android app if you want. :]

This is a thing. I have had it happen when working on a car and disconnecting and reconnecting the battery on the first attempt to start the car. Not just once but several times on 98 and on cars.

I have to do that sometimes. Usually at the gas station.
