I also experienced this with an aftermarket rear window switch. Wasn't even close to fitting

Today, I cleaned the EGR/manifold, replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and a clean, still-good distributor rotor. As I stated in the crazy vacuum issue thread, I cleaned up the vacuum lines and undid all the havoc the previous owner did. I think it was just as bad as the red Volvo wagon when I first bought it in 2/2022.
I plan to clean the O2 sensors.

Did you just return them until you got one that fit?
I got this from the blue wagon I parted out last year. It fit in that panel fine. It was brand new when installed just before I bought the car.
I just thought it was weird that it fit one car but not the other. I'm replacing these door panels with the ones from my $600 v70r soon. Im either going to file down the door panel, or swap the guts to my old switch housing.
My passenger side caliper is still sticking, so I got some rebuilt ones from the O'Reilly's. To my surprise they were OEM. Unfortunately we're all 1 bolt away from that 30 minute job turning into a 6 hour job
Were I back home in Maine this wouldn't be an issue. But living in a hotel room in Groton it's a bigger issue than id like it to be . I'm going to get some bolt extractors from the parts store. My friends and I have had good luck with the socket style extractors.
Finally, I installed some ABM projectors I got from a friend. I still need to adjust them, but that passenger side cutoff looks wack to me.
Does anyone else have these? How does your cutoff compare?
If anyone has a chrome set they'd like to trade for the black set that's local to New England, I'd trade with you. I don't have the corner lamps unfortunately.
If not, I'll likely take these apart, strip the black off and color match it to the silver of the car. Ill also be swapping the projectors out for HID projectors when I can figure out what ones will fit. They're held in with a couple of screws.
I believe I saw a post on sweedespeed where scottishbrick was selling a pair he did up a while back.
I picked up this to bleed the brakes, as I have a fleet of different vehicles that I maintain.

The cap it came with didn't fit on the brake reservoir because the threaded portion is larger than our cap. The ad said it fits more Euro vehicles, but Im going to assume that the cap fits p2s+
Does anyone know what style cap I need for p80s?

OEM cores, but the rebuilder can use either good or crap parts unfortunately. My passenger side caliper is still sticking, so I got some rebuilt ones from the O'Reilly's. To my surprise they were OEM.
Take a minute and pull the guide pins and test with a magnet for SilverCheesium(tm) - in the Pine Tree State, I would use real stainless steel pins only.
Protect the CV boot with asbestos or wood - then blast that bad boy with Mapp gas for 67 seconds before trying that extractor socket; will come with heat, verve, and élan.
Since I have used a semicolon, an Oxford comma, and an accent all in one post, I retire for the day.

Today, I drove the Falcon onto a trailer, said my goodbyes to her, and watched her head out to her next adventure with MarinerMan, who is a fascinating guy with some hilarious stories, and I'm very relieved and thankful that he's the right person who finally found her.
End of an era: 2016-2026.
Gonna miss her, but her story ain't over and that's all I wanted.
Still going to lurk around here!
