Access windshield washer hose near pump? 2012 S40

My windshield washer is not squirting (on the windshield). I hear the pump working, and when it's on the fluid leaks down by the tire, so it's obviously the hose near the pump. How does one access this section of hose? It seems deep down in the bowels of the fender region, with no obvious visible access.

I believe that the washer fluid reservoir is on the left(drivers) side of the car. The access to the pump can be obtain through removing the front left tire and then wheel arch fender liner(not sure of proper technical term). The fluid level sensor will be on the left side of the reservoir and pump on the opposite side. Likely your hose split at the site of pump connector. Hope helps.

Not sure if you have resolved this issue yet....You need to remove the front bumper cover then you will be staring right at the reservoir. Depending on where the leak is coming from, you may then need to remove the wheel arch plastics. You can 'see' some of the reservoir and lines with the headlight removed, but to 'easily' complete any repairs, it's better to follow the above. Not hard, but time consuming.
