Is it time to start making stickers with old fashioned car key and "this car equipped with theft protection " similar to all jeeps with manual transmission? First it was Kia/Hyundai boys, now kids are stealing all the "fob" cars since the jammer is only $500..so "gone in 60 seconds" starts to be a new reality..
Next logical step would be for every insurance company to require additional theft protection measures like GPS trackers(can be jammed), separate aftermarket locks for hood, secret disconnects for important power feeds(so-so option since as soon as you mass produce them, thieves adapt to type and locations.). Manual steering wheel locker..

What are you guys thinking? Or we all secretly hope that our old volvo will be stolen and thus we will be liberated from spending money on it?

My personal plan is old (at least 20 years), ugly paint (bad clear coat), and locally undesirable brand (Volvo, of course!) vehicles.
I worry more about the battery getting stolen from my 1977 truck or my 16 foot trailer getting 'borrowed'.
