I have to mow my friends yard real quick. It'll be a few hours anyway. So I'll be back on later to give some details. I'm sure you can tell by the interior it's probably not a Volvo. However, my selfie does contain my 95 850 trailing behind.

Lol I appreciate someone taking a guess.

However I don't buy Ford products. I nearly bought a 2010 or 2011 Ford escape v6 back in August 2024. But the 2005 Honda CRV was a much more reliable transmission option, so the thought of an Escape escaped my mind πŸ˜πŸ˜† (abscate WHERE ARE YOU?). That's the...first?...time I've ever considered a Ford product. However the escape would have provided just as good use as that CRV I got because towing is a needed option. The CRV is not designed for 3500LB and the Escape has a notso reliable transmission even though its rated at 3500LB.

Anyway, I have yet to clean my new car. Once I do that I'll unveil it.

I think it’s a GM, Stellantis, Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, or Mazda product.

Lol that's hilarious. Of course I've never talked much about my tolerance of unreliable vehicles. So here goes. I will NEVER buy any Stellantis, any Hyundai (KIA) vehicle, any GM i4, any GM AFM V8. Except for the outliers, they are HIGHLY unreliable. Many mechanics say not to buy them. Included, but not limited to, in that statement are Scotty Kilmer, YT 'I Do Cars', YT (whatsHISname?) CarWizard, and my personal mechanic Paul Yoder (Yoder's Auto Repair, Sawyer Oklahoma). My personal preference of additional 'to avoid' are- any Volvo 99-02, any Volvo i5 after 2004, any Volvo after 2010, any Honda VCM, any Honda Earth Dreams (2010-?), any Nissan V6 03-10?, any Toyota 3.5L 06-09, any Toyota 2.4/2.5L (AUZ?).

I'm supposed to clean my new car today, so I'll be on this evening to show 'after' pictures. I am purposely leaving out any pictures I have with logo or model. But I'm willing to bet that at least a few of you can tell what it is just by the interior.

Before pictures:

Presenting my new 2006 Honda Odyssey LX. Manual cloth seats. No factory options added. One downside is no sunroof. But the rear CC makes up for that kinda. I carefully chose the regular V6 (non-VCM). 127,921 miles when I drove off the lot. 128,081 when I got home. $3900. Interim (Ford dealer) owner a smoker? Spent 6 hours cleaning. Used debris vacuum, wet vacuum, Dewalt drill with medium/heavy bristle brushes, homemade cleaner (shampoo). The cleaner included essential oils to hopefully permanently change the smoker smell over to Cedar/Frankincense. Spent another 1.5hr changing oil/filter, changing brake fluid, clearing f+r wiper fluid lines, adding wiper fluid, adding coolant, removing old wipers, washing ws with Dawn, and putting fresh Bosch Clear Advantage blades on. Tomorrow popping out the dent on trunk and waxing whole thing.

Plan to install Dolby speaker set from 08-12 c70 and maybe the other p80 c70 4channel amp. Plan to install all the usual stuff. 2x dual usb A sockets, 1x dual usb C socket, factory aux socket.

My dad had an '05 Oddysey, it was an excellent vehicle! At the time they didn't offer AWD in it but it was still pretty good for Canadian winters and ski trips.
