Volvo 240 values on Bring a Trailer are holding in there, with the bulk of transactions happening under $10k.
Your best bet when looking at these charts is to ignore the outliers, like the $59.5k sale in 2024. They're great for headlines, but not useful if you're actually selling or buying. Watch the body of the chart, that's where the truth lies.
240 values on BaT holding, perhaps climbing slightly

We bought a nice 245T 6 yrs old when they were stylish, functional, slightly sporty family wagons. The kid we bought it from cleaned big boats at the marinas - he really needed a truck.
We watched them become average used cars, still a few minty ones around. Then cars people gave to their college kids. Then HS kids were driving them. Then they faded away.
And now look!

Looks like $8 to 10K is typical on REPORTED sales.
Not bad at all. But the unreported sales may be $2 to 4K.
