Wise Ones,
I have 05, S60 2.5T with about 30,000 miles on it. Every so often, when I make a left hand turn, and it only happens on a left hand turn, the (rear) tires feel like they are bumping against something - sort of like when you hit a pot hole, except the road is always perfectly smooth. It feels like it is the rear (possibly) right tire. On occasion, the tires even feel like they are slipping (like when your tires spin on snow/ice). I say on occasion because it does not happen consistently - but the pattern seems to be on the first left hand turn of the day - after the car has been sitting overnight. Also, 5 days a week I make a complete U-turn - turning the wheel all the way to the left - and it does not happen then.
Thanks in advance for any advice/ insight

If this is when you pull away for the 1st time it could be the ABS self test but for some reason yours a bit more..."aggresive!"
Does it do this if you pull away straight?
You also could have a broken E Brake shoe, which would "thump" once in the rear of the car
