There was no baseball game in Seattle last night because the futbol game was being played in the football stadium right next door and it would have been a complete zoo.

Portugal wins on a very suspect offsides call. They showed the best angle replay only once, and at most the Croatian player's hair touched the ball. I call BS on that.

My reflections on World Cup.

I hate Penalty kicks deciding a match. It’s a pseudo random coin flip and that doesn’t seem right. It also alters strategies as weak teams will defensively shell to force a tie, like ARG did in the final.

How about the first team to score in a tie game after extra time, advances?

So, amended version , of goals are scored in extra time. First goal advances, but not sudden death

Team A scores in half one
Team B scores in half two
End 1-1 full time
TeamB scores in extra time
Team A ties

Team B advances
