I realized that when I floor it, aside from the A/C compressor turning off lowering the temp noticably, I have a bit of exhaust smell in the cabin. Is this something like the fitting on the turbo gauge leaking under boost?

The boost gauge uses vacuum, no exhaust, so nothing to worry about. The AC compressor is supposed to shut off on wide open throttle though, so that's normal.
Check for any exhaust leaks, especially any flexible sections of pipe.

Just notice this while installing the strut brace. Wonder how long I’ve been riding with this.

Finished is installing the strut brace. Also pushed the knuckles of the struts inward, for more camber.

Tempted to save up for ipd sway bars, instead of saving up for a R or amg. The car just wont die. (Knock on wood)

Manovlov, as far as I can recall there is only a switch on the brake peddle for disengaging the cruise control. I think the other switch is for the setting and is from the stalk on the steering column. I was trying to think why perhaps a manual would have say a senor on the gas peddle if the automatic does not. Not having a manual I can't go out and check. Perhaps someone with a manual trans car wit working cruise control can confirm.

I like the picture of the V70R in laser blue! Just like ours but that one looks like better paint. We don't have the R wheels though. I've never been a fan of them.

I replaced the steering wheel a couple months back and removed it again to check why it isn’t straight, as compared to the old wheel.

Stripped the torx head from the airbag. Luckily I could hammer in a flathead and get it loose.

The tooth are not aligned the same. The new wheel is slightly offset. I guess that’s why it’s not straight.

Before installing the new wheel back again, I replaced the airbag screws from the old wheel.

Time to get an alignment done again.

No harm trying! You can also add the front stiffening bars from a C70 that bolt to the front subframe bolts and also further back where the AWD has a crossmember under the prop-shaft to support the center bearing.

The also have a 2nd one that fits inside the front sub-frame, but some modification is needed to add that.
