I will be testing the new generation of road legal in Europe Osram LED's. But in the meantime i am very impressed with these non-approved Philips LEDs and i think they are less dazzling than the halogens...anyway been playing with the shunt resistor so it retains its function, to alert me if a bulb was to fail. Have found a 1metre length of wire is all the resistance it needs, just waiting to get some 0.1ohm resistors to play with.
