cleaning voil/sparkplug well

Any suggestions on cleaning this coil/sparkplug well? I'm prepping this salvage motor for my V70

What jonesg say, then:
Dissolve stubborn gunk with a solvent ( brake. carb cleaner .. ect).
Wipe the well clean with a rag wrapped around a long tool ( broom handle, break over .. ect ).

I make vacuum hose attachments with small plastic tubes taped to the smallest vacuum hose attachment. The small tube also increases velocity at the end.
