Hello, everyone my child purchased a 2007 s80 a couple of months ago with a v8 and water pump was leaking. I purchased a new pump and thermostat and thermostat housing along with idler pullies, drive belt and all new hoses. The question I have is does this system have to be blead is there a bleeder screw on the block somewhere? Or will the system bleed out all the air by itself? I don't want to run the car and find out later after damaging the engine. Thanks for any input

@SPEEDDEMAN did you ever replace the water pump? I just removed mine that failed but it was almost impossible to route it out, wondering how best to get the new one in. From what I read it seems I may need to jack up the engine, let me know if that is what you had to do.
