Using sealant with cam seal?

I've got major problems to get Volvo B5254T2 motor's front cam seal properly installed. It leaks.

Does anyone have experience in using additional sealant to get seal's outer surface not leak?

I have covered the OD of the cam seals with a very thin coating the same red anaroebic sealant used for the upper to lower head seal. No problems from the 4 Volvo engines with this completed. I also did a thourogh cleaning of the PCV oil separator, added new hoses and clamps, and verified the drain down to the oil pan was clear.

It has brand new entire breathing system - which works well.

Cam seal grinds a groove on camshaft. New seal has to be seated in at a slightly different depth.

Also not all seals are equal. I had to replace 3 out of 4 Corteco seals, because they were leaking. Volvo OE seals stopped the leak.

In this 2,5 Turbo the seal does not touch cam, but only VVT and bliock+valvecover.
