Rear brakes....How do I retract the pistons? I have a code reader, but not sure if it will activate the emergency brake retraction of the pistons. I really do not want to take this to a mechanic at $175 and hour. In the past cars I have always done my own brakes/ rotors, but this is new to me.

I’ve heard of using this method and wouldn’t hesitate doing it this way.
A local Volvo indy that did ours made the comment that the cars with the electric p-brakes are prone to eating up rear pads and rotors much faster than the fronts. That’s the story with our 2018 S60.
Having watched the video I noticed he had to “help” the piston while it was retracting. Maybe that’s the reason for my short rear pad life - dragging brakes.
