I've just had all the suspension, bumpers & sill covers off my 97 V90 to rebush the complete suspension & replace the driveshaft oil seals while the underside was pressure washed, needle-gunned, welded (almost none needed) & completely reundersealed & wax injected.

My problem is that, when first reassembled, the screenwash feed to the rear was blocked. It turned out to be that the pipe had got trapped in the OS bumper mount, easily resolved, but in diagnosing that I found a stray screenwash pipe & I've no idea what it does or where it goes.

The pump for the front 'screen & headlights is connected to the bottom of the filter by a 3" long hose. The filter has two outlets, one goes to an adjacent T piece (not a valve) & the output from that goes on one hose to the headlights & the other goes to the front' screen.

My problem is that the filter has two outlets on the top, & the other has a footlong length of screenwash hose attached to it, & I've no idea where the other end goes. I clamped it & the front screen & headlights both get a good flood of water, so I left it open expecting a jet of screenwash to take the path of least resistance & shoot out of the open end, but it didn't. Should it?

Anyone out there with a V90 (or maybe late 960?) or a long memory that can help?

Regards from England

Ed
