Why do I have to pull my front door handle twice to unlock from the inside? I thought that was a feature only for rear passengers.

It is programed that way.

You can have it both ways.

How to Turn It Off (Single-Pull Exit)
If you prefer a standard "one pull" exit, you can change this behavior by adjusting your central locking settings so the car unlocks automatically when you put it in Park or turn it off.

On a 2013 model equipped with the Sensus infotainment system, you can adjust this through the center screen console:

1. Press the MY CAR button on your center dashboard stack.
2. Select Settings on the screen.
3. Scroll down and click on Car settings.
4. Go to Locking.
5. Look for Auto Door Unlock or Remote and Interior Unlock.
6. Switch the configuration to All Doors.

Thanks for the reply!
I tried this method and nothing changed. Are there different instructions for different years?

What is this one?
Still not unlocking automatically when you put it in Park or turn it off the car. ?

After car auto unlocks, then you need only one pull to open door.
