Headlight assembly interchangeability

I have a 2009 S60 with halogen bulbs. My daughter had an altercation with a pole requiring replacement on at least 1 assembly. I found a set of older halogen glass assemblies from 2001-2004 from back when they had the wipers. Anyone know if these older assemblies fit up the same way as the 2005-2009? How about the harness…all the same?

have you tried comparing part numbers.?

01-04 and 05-09 are not interchangeable. You still can fit them, but with wiring harness modifications."
