1998 serp belt path pieces needed

Christina , the latest Beryl Volvo is a 1998 S70 GLT

she has no serp belt and it looks like the plastic pulley is melted.

Anyone with stash for cash ??

Can you post a picture of which pulley it is? I'm not sure I have any left but if I know which one it is I can check. Unfortunately very few P80's in the yards up here now.

There’s a big glob of molten plastic so I’m guessing the following need replacement…

Which one is the melted pulley? I know I have a good idler pulley and I can check for others.

It must be the idler. All that’s left is a hunk of plastic glob , it’s not even round.

I’ve got 4 1998 in Beryls Volvos now so I had better start educating myself on the ancients, I.e, pre 1999

Sorry don't have one and no cars with suitable part in junkyards here just now. Autohaus have it on sale just now:

There is a plastic cap/cover that fits over the bolt. Not sure if it is re-useable. As you are aware the original part is NLA. However there is stock of INA branded parts out there.

Checked the stash, but recalled I had a brand new one but gave to my mechanic buddy for his 850.

Been a while, but if I recall the alternator on a -98 rotates in the opposite direction to the 99- cars.

Ordered a pro parts Sweden ftom FCP

New Volvo is NLA but there are still aftermarket’s.

Goal fir these cars is 4 years/20,000 ,lies of life for someone who has no wheels, and little budget to maintain. We refresh cooling group parts , belts hoses m and fluids
