Congrats Bruno. Now get over that bridge back to your side.brunocerous wrote: 02 Sep 2026, 13:43 After approximately three years of sitting in my parents’ driveway, the Silver Bullet finally got a new (used) thermostat housing (along with an OE thermostat, temperature sensor and coolant level sensor, Xmodex-repaired throttle, MAF, PCV system, calipers, rotors, pads) and a test drive. Apparently I’d neglected to properly tighten a wheel bolt on the LR wheel and heard a suspicious clang a couple of blocks from the house, went back and found the bolt in the street. Then went and had the four Goodyear tires I’d bought on sale installed.
Next, I’ll get historic plates for it since it’s over the 25-year threshold.

Installed yellow bulbs for all the lights.
Fogs are nokya h1.
Left h7 bulb is nokya and right h7 bulb is piaa.
I tried to edit the picture to show the difference in yellow.
Right side, piaa, is more yellow.
Strangely, the h1 fog bulbs from nokya are yellower than the nokya h7 bulbs

I started my 850 for the first time in weeks. I needed to move is away from the garage door, so I could do some pressure washing of random items. I let it idle for a bit before I actually moved it, and it sounded like the valvetrain was rattling and didn't go away. My poor car felt awful. I need to work on it.

I didn’t start mine for quite a while and I had rattly valves for a while. I wonder if that’s the lifters bleeding down over time.
