1. Locate the metal line attached to the pump (not the rubber supply hose).
2. Unscrew the line's 16mm flare nut and pull the line out.
3. Look at the pump body where the line just came out. There is a large hex fitting left behind.
4. Unscrew that large hex fitting. The spring and shuttle valve piston sit right inside that deep hole.
