My 2007 V70 base has no rear sway bar.
Mounting holes for the links and for the sway bar's clamping hardware are there.
I intend to use a sway bar from a junkyard.
Has anyone done this?
A search yielded nothing.

The base models didn't have them, and I've already fetched one from a yard.
I know about the offerings from IPD and FCP. I wanted to keep the costs down.
I just want to know if anyone here has ever done this refit.

Oh, I have a free one you could have had for the shipping. Came off my '04 XC. I bought the Ipd bigger ones.

I would check if an XC70 version would fit a V70 FWD. Rear suspension is different.
Just finished working on a 05 V70 base and it also did not have a rear anti-sway bar.
Neil.

I did this for the blue 2001 V70. Got the bar and two U shaped brackets off a FWD S60 and a pair of nearly new links. I used the FCPeuro.com vehicle application charts as a guide for finding compatible parts. Installing without removal of both springs was tricky. I removed one spring and played with it until everything was aligned and easy to bolt together.
It was more work than the perceived benefit to the V70 body roll reduction. My son was happy with the flatter cornering.
