I'll provide you guys with another update in just a little bit. For now, I need to address a flooring concern. Moreso, an inquiry with yall. I'm going to likely scrap the padding and structure for the third row seats under the trunk floor if you guys don't want to buy the entire set off of me. I want proper space for a full size spare just like the regular wagons without third row.

Update peeps!

I'm a lazy butthole and the time it took me from the last update to today shows such.

As you can see in the pictures, I finished the 1:1 blueprint for the tongue. It includes jack, safety chains, and the square filler piece that sits underneath the middle hitch beam. I do not have a properly cut beam to place onto the blueprint for the midpieces that go into the factory seat mount. The entire tongue is going to be white and I have an entire case of 6 automotive gloss enamel for that.

The steel legs you see are the main stabilizers for the entire trailer. So on the front of the trailer there will be the jack and then the single support with two legs on it which will be welded onto the tunnel after another support beam extends the open bottom of the tunnel. On the back of the trailer there will be the two individual telescoping legs that weld onto the frame, in front of the hitch mount on each side.

Now I have to go cut all these pieces to exact specs. I feel even more lazy now that I have to do this part. This is the unfun part. It won't take as long to get the update out for the wall. I have to get that done within the next week because my friend is going to want to start welding about two weeks from now.

Update

Wish I had something more juicy for you, but I don't. I forgot the keys to the the trailer so I did not get to do any of the blueprint stuff. Friday and Saturday are supposed to be more mild.

I at least figured out what's up with the hard rubber stuff stuck to the floor pan. It's pretty much compact tar, likely for sound dampening. Using leverage like a knife to scrape the underside of the tar will help peel it back instead of coming out in gunk chunks.

I'm actually going to buy a bulk box of six cans of Rust-Oleum rubberized spray. Now that I know what that stuff stuck to the floor pan is, I'll strip all that old stuff off before putting in the wall, and apply fresh stuff after putting in the wall.

The main purpose of buying the Rustoleum rubberized spray is to cover the undercarriage of the trailer once I get the undercarriage completely clean and the tongue installed.
